About company
Our school is located in one of the most scenic and attractive regions of Berlin, in Treptow / Köpenick, near the Müggelsee. About 650 students are currently studying here. Approx. 50 teachers work at this training center.
The range of courses
In grades 7 and 8 , lessons are exclusively given in classes. Subjects are: German, mathematics, first and second foreign language, music, fine arts, history, geography, sport, biology, chemistry, physics, media and optionally religion. Instruction in grades 9 and 10 will continue in the previously enumerated subjects. In addition, there are 4 hours of lessons in an elective subject. Here you have to choose between a third foreign language or two other subjects. Those who choose Latin as their third foreign language in grade 9 and attend classes without interruption canacquirethe Latinum . At the end of the tenth grade, exams become the secondary school leaving certificatefiled. In addition to the annual performance, this is a prerequisite for the transition to upper secondary school.
With the entry into the upper level of the gymnasium, the classes in the class are replaced by a course system. The subjects are retained. Priorities must be set by choosing two performance subjects. Subjects can be: modern foreign languages, German, mathematics, music, fine arts, political science, history, geography, all three natural sciences and computer science.

The new 7th grades
In order to promote the learning techniques of the individual students, we are carrying out method training with the new 7th grade. Communication training then follows in 8th grade. For the pupils of the 7th grade, specific additional support lessons in German, mathematics and foreign languages are offered by experienced teachers.
Stays abroad
don't just learn a language at school! Go where you speak it! Learn foreign languages, get to know other people so that we are no longer strangers! The school maintains a school partnership with France and Spain. Here two groups of schoolchildren visit each other on a return trip within a school year. You live with the host's family for two weeks, go to school and get to know your neighbors. Individual forms range from trips lasting several weeks with a return visit (Voltaire program) to trips for a whole, even half a year, to another country in the world.
And what else is there besides the lessons?
The choirs, the big band, the performances in the auditorium, recreational sports, diverse working groups, the hiking days, the sports festivals and the class trips. The warm lunch in the new cafeteria, an internship in grade 9, school competitions (e.g. kangaroo, geography knowledge) as well as various projects and excursions
