Job role
Implement SAFE work procedures tasks that ensure SAFETY and efficient operation of all circuits corresponding to your area of responsibility.
Implement work procedures tasks that ensure environmental compliance in terms of spills and air emissions.
Participate in Operation and Hazards (HAZOP) of the oxygen plant and autoclaves.
Give feedback to the General Operations Supervisor regarding the continuous review of process controls and develop strategies that provide continuous efficiency and reliability.
Interact with the HR department, to identify and hire operators.
Participate in the continuous development of the required preventive maintenance activities for the efficient and safe operation of the Autoclave plant.
Make field contact a priority, with the aim of maintaining a committed, positive and motivated work atmosphere, with pride in quality and work with productivity.
Continue with plant operator training and progression, document training progress, perform observation tasks, and conduct employee training evaluations.
Create and maintain high standards of work, workplace, and cleanliness that pertain to the process plant.
Monitor and coordinate shift activities and identify opportunities for improvement when implementation is guaranteed and possible.
Coordinate maintenance activities, including the use of Work Permits for areas of responsibility. Ensure that the equipment is ready for planned maintenance activities.
Participate with Asset Management to develop long-term maintenance strategies.
In collaboration with the Risk Prevention department, perform or review current risk assessments, including tasks, workplaces, and equipment.
Develop and train personnel to determine risks within the plant and how to identify them.
Develop and write operating procedures and related documents for operator training. Ensure that all documents are in the required format as Governance Policy. A deep understanding of the process and equipment as well as competent writing and computer skills are essential for this position.
Implement equipment maintenance inspection sheets and check with the maintenance supervisor to proactively identify equipment requiring attention.
Comply with the responsibilities described in the Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), Instructions, Guides or Operation Manuals, Manufacturer's Instructions, and other applicable documents, associated with the controls of the environmental aspects described in the IDEAA Table and / o Environmental Management Program (s) and / or corresponding Operational Control Matrix.
