About company
The island of Tenerife is located within the archipelago of the Canary Islands, its capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is one of the two capitals of the autonomous community of the Canary Islands.
It is the largest island in the archipelago and has an area of 2,034.38 km² and a population of almost 1,000,000 inhabitants, making it the most populated island in the entire archipelago.
The island of Tenerife, like its sister islands, come from volcanic origin. Proof of this is the imposing Teide, a 3718-meter-high volcano located in the National Park that bears its own name.
Tenerife has a very important climatic characteristic. Thanks to the smoothing winds that circulate from the north of the Atlantic Ocean, the climate throughout the year is quite stable. Precisely this climate is very favorable to customers who use our Tenerife south self-service laundry (also called Lavandería Azul ).
The pronounced relief of the island and its microclimates result in very different landscapes in some areas of the island and in others.
In the north of the island green and sparsely populated landscapes predominate, in the south the landscape is much drier. From the incredible cliffs that perch in the sea in Los Gigantes to the sandy beaches of El Médano, a whole host of landscapes with all kinds of reliefs, vegetation and climates.
As a result of this variety and such stable climate throughout the year, the Canary Islands have become a tourist attraction worldwide. More than 14 million tourists visit the Canary Islands every year and the number seems to be constantly increasing. This has made tourism the basis of the Canarian economy and consequently the basis of the Tenerife economy.
